how do develop these calligraphies? dear werner, i have thought about your question... all can be a source for my work, nature, phantasy, internet and fotos. starting here i go on my way of searching, try to find special movements, a true shape, certain harmonies. and i slowly develop a complex sign. the expression may not be lost! i push till this expression stands almost as body in front of me, in the same moment being almost without materiality. just one movement i am looking for. this needs a lot of studies, an abstraction which gets clearer and clearer. inside and outside become the same in this figure. while searching i go back and find my own rhythm, develop a course of action in space, performing a dance with hand, spirit and soul, till there is a moment, which, filtered and transformed, detaches himself from time and floats away like a big soap bubble.
